Sneak Preview! Manda's Merry Garden arose out of my old dining room. The glass patio door just a few feet from the kitchen table was the only source of sunlight in the house. Once I found my plant passion, many of my green friends came indoors when the weather turned cold outside. They gathered (more like huddled) together in the tiny bit of sunlight offered through the doors. My family slowly began to tease me for my growing indoor garden, so I decided to just own it and give it a name!
Now that we have moved into our dream home (complete with southern facing sun room), I have ample space for my indoor green friends. I've put together a variety to succulent gardens and small houseplant gardens in unique containers, many found at local consignment stores and flea markets. Here is a sneak peak at what is now in the shop at The Hidden Gem. I am constantly looking for more fun containers and am growing new plants in a small indoor greenhouse. I hope you come check out what I've made and take home a new green friend of your own. They make great gifts for your office friends. Every office needs a plant! Hope to see you in May!

There are lots of hidden gems that you would never see if you just look at the bright ones. As a coach, I always try to look for diamonds in the rough. People think that talent is all that matters, but that is not true. Once you see a player that has potential, then you just need to train them. I have turned lots of players into great ones, in fact, there are even some who are playing professionally right now.
